Mike is an entrepreneur at heart. For the past 30 years, he has built a wide portfolio of successful brands and entertainment-based businesses. His story began on the road, touring as a professional musician signed by Universal Records before launching one of the largest entertainment agencies in the country. He has raised and facilitated more than $100 million dollars in sponsor partnerships for his festivals and has produced numerous high-profile marketing tours.
Based in San Diego, California, Mike currently owns and operates Westward Entertainment, which focuses on large scale event production, brand management, event consulting, and content-driven social marketing. He is also the Founder and Creator of the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, Missouri—a 23,000-square-foot, $14 million dollar educational facility dedicated to telling the entire story of modern American music. Recent projects include launching a full-service concessions business, the launch of a 50,000 square foot outdoor concert venue in Logan Heights – SD and a partnership to create the “Chicano Music Festival” which will tour the west coast.
When it comes to Mike and Christine’s (wife) coach, it’s a 1977 stock Palm Beach named “The Caddy Shack.”
